Description

Well I guess the time has come, selling my last z28 camaro, I bought this car over 22 years ago as a roller, had the original motor tranny rear end and a ton of its original parts, car sat for a few years than decided to start to restore it, sent the body to the paint shop took 6 months to get it back but he did a great job put it on the lift and forgot about it for a couple of years due to illness in the family, after that I sent to original motor to get rebuilt using all the original parts but the 11 to 1 pistons those I bought new plus the kit to rebuild it, decided not to go with the 202 fuelies instead bought a set of 492 over the counter Chevy heads that put out more power, the original heads go with the car, these heads were ported and polished from a shop in davie florida called race, the short block was delivered to them and they finished the motor put it on a running stand and started it up in front of me, it ran great, we had it dyno at 405 hp, transmission was also rebuilt, all original parts such as 2019 distributor,2110 manifold, 837 alternator. the alternator was restored at davie battery and alternato, there were 2 in the car both 837.s sold one kept the other, rear end is 373 coz, I have a ton of parts to finish the car, missing some that's for sure, but I have the front and back seats, car was console delete but have brackets and consoles if you decide to use one, I have the rs grill surround that I had re chromed 20 years ago, the grills, are min, I have the rs front lights and bumpers, rear bumper, the tires I bought new many years ago they are the repro originals but radials for a better ride, this guy I bought it from had 2 of the factory original tires that are in great shape, I have so many pictures of the car and parts you only get 24 with ebay I am going to try and put more, or I can text them to you or email more pics 9five4four4eightzero7zero7, I also have the carpet kit brand new, also included in the sale will be my collection of parts I have been saving for 30 years, to many to list, for example 20 or so clusters speedos gauges amps and volts lots of chrome, restored tilt steering column for the car, and 2 more tilt steering columns, that's just some of the parts, don't just think you will send a truck for a fast pick up, to much stuff, to fit in the car. this car was just brought down from the lift it has been sitting on it up in the air for at least 15 years, due to a broken hydrolic cylinder, I lost intrest in the car many years ago, kind of forgot about it, I have been into 2nd gen dodge ram trucks for many years now and no longer interested in camaros any more, I bought my first 70 z28 when I was 16 years old I paid 1400 dollars at a exon gas station in 1976 they were everywhere, I have owned over 10 of them over the years, never thought I would ever sell this one planed on giving it to my son but he is into dodge trucks as well, this car is a easy project to finish, and we all no what they are worth when they are finished, and we all no the difference of a true numbers matching rs z28 is worth as well, now the BAD tub rails on each side need replace, I didn't do them because I was going to make it a daily driver at the time, I had others that were for show, the pans have surface rust on them from the back seat back, as does the rear end, but when I sanded down the spot on the axel to find the numbers, it came right off as you can see in the pictures, the tub rails are only bad a foot and a half back on both sides I would just piece them in, the quarters are perfect no rust as no rust on the body or rockers what so ever, if you are looking for a real nice rs z28 easy project than this is it you will not come across another one like this, like I said a ton of parts that don't even belong to the car could be sold for a few thousand to make some money back, I also have new gm leaf springs, like I said to many parts to even remember, thanks for looking
