This is a 2 owner car and has an extensive log kept by the first owner from new until 1991 when he put the car in storage until it's sale to the current owner here in Texas in 2014. When purchased, the current owner took the car to Carrs Corvettes and Customs in Plano, TX for a complete service and check up. Everything that needed addressing was taken care of at that time. We have receipts totaling approximately $5200. Some of those items include:Brake system rebuildDifferential serviceTune up and Carb overhaulNew tires This work was all done in 2014 Enjoy the video of this 1979 Camaro Z-28 here. please just click the above sentence to view the video. Below is the last mileage entered in the journal in 1991 and you can see by the odometer how few miles were added to the car by the current owner. The current mileage is actually 73262. The owner took the car home for a bit and just put an additional 143 mile on the car in the last year. We are relisting the car now. The interior and paint are original on the car. The 1st owner claimed never to have done anything but mechanical work on the car. The paint definitely looks original. Below is an entry in 1984 showing that a new engine block was installed. It is a performance built 350 4 bolt with headers and increased cam andcarburetor. This makes the car not a matching numbers car, but it's an upgrade to a very strong running engine. Here's another entry into the journal in 1985. Here you can see some of the fading and chips around the window frames. The car is mechanically very sound. The car still retains it's original factory turbine alloy wheels. Thank you for viewing our ad. Again, please feel free to call Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317.
