Interior:

The Interior is like a time capsule. The T tops are in excellent condition and have been fitted with removable visors. All the power windows work as they should, and all the glass is in excellent condition.

Exterior:

The exterior is easily an 8 out of 10 and for 81 that’s quite impressive! The top half was repainted when the new custom made L88 inspired hood was fitted. Tires have over 90% tread left and there are zero blemishes on the wheels. All the gaskets are tight and work excellent. I personally have not put this car in the rain and I recommend the new owner keeps it like that.

Drivetrain:

Let’s get to the fun stuff! This Corvettes original drivetrain has 15K miles on it. It was the top of the line L82 from the factory with Limited slip / 4-barrel carb / Gymkhana Suspension. At 14xxx miles it was fitted with a limited production all aluminum 427 motor, along with a host of additional cooling and pulley upgrades. It has a Giant Be Cool radiator that keeps the engine temps in check. Electric auto fans kick on in case of stop and go traffic. The 4 speed Muncie transmission takes the 430hp with ease and lays it out perfectly. If you want to embarrass a modern-day Vette, buy this machine. 440lbs of Torque lays out evenly via a limited slip diff at a moderate 3,400rpms! Full documentation will be included with this purchase, including the original 427 GM receipt for 28K, and over 10K of additional items.
