1972 Chevrolet El Camino Rat Rod
Description
First of all I am listing this for a friend. I am writing the description as he wrote it. I suggest that you contact him before you bid. His phone number is 918 946 5269.
1972 El Camino with factory 350 V8 and turbo 350 transmission. It has had a lot of old parts replaced under the hood. Chrome flamed valve covers, chrome breather, fuel pump, alternator, belts, hoses, HO distributor, rotor, cap, wires, plugs, battery, starter, transmission filter and serviced, brakes, master cylinder, windshield. Has good tires. It has a lot of the original patina, some small dents and scratches, so I kept it as a rat rod/race tow vehicle with the old school hand painted lettering and fake Hurst floor shifter. It has 2 tone paint. I have most of the bright trim and extra parts not put on so it would have the rat rod look. It has won Best Rat Rod awards at car shows. It runs down the road great and the dual exhaust sounds good. The floors are solid. Here's a list of the bad things. Some dash gauges and the radio don't work. It has had some poor rust repairs on the quarters and bottom of the fenders but can be repaired.
It was featured in a hard cover book about Route 66 because it was found by and old gas station on Route 66 here in Oklahoma. It has a clear title.
Come drive it home.
Again, call 918 946 5269. Ask for more pictures and/or more information.
