Description

1976 Blazer Chalet #258 of 1700 made. New GM 350 performance crate 300 HP and 330lbs torque. The transmission was rebuilt when the engine was installed. The truck has about 2000 sine the new engine and drive train installed and runs on regular unleaded . The drive shaft and u-joints are new. A big block aluminum radiator with trans cooler keep it cool running down the road. A 95amp alternator keeps both batteries charged. There is an isolator that never allows the crank battery to drain so you always have cranking battery. AC is R134 converted and blows cold. Doubled shocks in front and single shocked with air bags rear. Belltech sway bars keep it stable on the road. The steering was reworked and it tracks tight and true on the road. The propane lines for the refe, stov, and furnace are steel braided so no chafing and all work like new. There is an additional rubber hose hooked up so you can hook up a grill outside if you want. The bucket seats swivel and all lighting in the dash and inside the camper are led along with the lights in the Hickey grill guard. The cruise control and all the gauges work except the clock. The front hubs are locking and the transfer case 4h, 4l, neutral and 2 wheel work great. All interior along with the vinyl on the raised top original and have no tears. This Chalet has the pull out bunks that scissor out and pin to use in the top. The couches fold out making a bed below. The original table and pole are in the cabinet. The truck is really in great shape and ready to go camping . The dual 2 and a half inch exhaust connected to long tube headers sound terrific. There is rust shown in the picture in front top of doors, and at the back of the bottom drivers side door. I take it deer hunting 550 miles from where I live and it performs flawlessly. The white and green colors on it are not original but are holding up well and still hold a nice shine. The tires have about 3000 miles on them . It is a great Chalet in great shape. I keep sun screens in all the widows to keep the heat out and no fade inside. I have spent a lot of time and money on it to get it to the shape it is in. Good Luck
