Description

Beautiful 1940 Chevy Special Deluxe Business Coupe called “Burning Money” (think about what it cost to build this car). This is a rust free, all steel car with a show quality Candy Apple paint job, chrome is all very nice, custom interior, runs and drives excellent. It has a healthy 1969 350 C.I. 4 bolt main Hi-Performance Corvette motor that really gets up and goes. This car has Power steering, power disc brakes, TH350 auto., 10 bolt Posi. rear, rack and pinion set up with late model Mustang II front clip and all late model front suspension. It has 11” Corvette front disc. brakes, dual flowmaster exhaust (sounds great), leaf spring rear suspension with KYB shocks, old school slapper bars, Mallory HEI Distributer, Edelbrock dual plane intake, Edelbrock 600 CFM 4 Bbl. and Chrome headers to list a few mods. Very nicely done Black interior with power seats, tilt wheel, Grant steering wheel, vintage Auto-meter gauges, which all work, rare clock in glove box door (not working), all the interior bezels/trim work were chrome plated and look great. This car is very comfortable and easy to drive, even for a larger guy, lots of room. It has a kick butt stereo system consisting of a Kenwood head unit, 2 Audiopipe 1500 watt amps, Boss power capacitor, 2x Audiopipe 12” subwoofers in the trunk and 2x VR3 6” and 2x VR3 6” x 9” speakers in back of you. This system cranks, but I like to hear the motor myself. This system was professionally installed keeping in mind the classic car it was going in. It could be removed easily, leaving no damage, if so desired. There is a plywood platform spanning the trunk with all of the equipment attached to it. There is an access panel under the platform allowing room for a spare tire to be hidden and put chairs etc., pretty neat. The frame, floors, trunk and running boards are all super solid and rust free. Very nicely built custom Hot Rod. There are two minor issues. Horns not working, and I can’t get the stereo to fire up, crazy. This car sat over the winter and battery went dead and now the stereo doesn’t work!! I made some calls to stereo places and apparently, the Capacitor needs to be charged for the system to work. I guess I need a 2watt 10ohm resistor to charge it and obviously don’t have one. I will try to get this done before car leaves.

Selling this car at a fraction of what it cost to build, "Burning Money".If you've ever financed a build like this you'll understand.
