Description

Here is a 1941 Chevrolet Coupe hot rod project. I have a good Indiana title for it. Previous owner bought it in 1979. I know he was working on, but never finished it. I know it has been sitting for years, but I don't know how long. It has a 1975 350 4bbl, 4 bolt main truck engine and th350 automatic transmission in it. I ran the front suffix engine codes. It has a very nice set of early 70's Z28 / Chevelle ralley wheels with wide bias poly glass tires on it. The paint looks really good on the body. The body is straight, not beat up, don't look like it has any bondo in it. I would say he had a good paint job put on it, but never got the car back together after that. Car was covered in dust and I have not washed it. But it has been sitting outside for 3 weeks now. The wiring looks like it is a mess. I have not tried to start it. Battery tray looks homemade and needs threw away. Firewall looks good. It tubular looking front a-arms that I have no clue what they are off of. But this car should have had a straight axle under it I would think. Frame looks good and you can tell was painted black years ago. Rear axle looks like it is probably original. I don't have any front inner fenders Floor pans has a few places that needs fixed like under the edge of where the carpet would start by sill plate covers there are some small holes. That should have been fixed before the car was painted. The stainless trim for the car looks good. All chrome or pot metal chrome all has pitts or looks dull and rough. Not in the pictures but included is the grille (but chrome looks horrible on it) gas tank, front windshield is cracked right in the middle, bumpers that the chrome looks horrible (but I would not use stock bumpers on it again anway). I know I am missing one rear side window glass. The other is in the car and not broken. I have either restored or new aftermarket headlight buckets in a box. Interior is really all missing. I know there is some new rubber seals for the doors or windows in the boxes. Other misc parts and pieces are there. Please look at the pics good. Body is really nice on this car, and paint looks good. Car needs finished, and some nicer touches put on the car. Car sits good and has a good stance, and looks good with the wide front tires. Check out the pictures good and make sure this is exactly what you want before you bid or buy. This is sold as is, all sales are final. I want a $250 deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction NO IFS OR BUTS ABOUT IT! I will accept cash, cashiers check, personal check, or money order for the remaining balance within 7 days after the end of the auction. But I am not releasing the car until I am 100% percent sure the funds are legit and cleared my account. Car can sit here for 30 days after the auction for free. But after that I want it removed. No problem to help you load it on a flatbed trailer. If you need it shipped try cars arrive.com
