Description
I bought this El Camino six months ago from the original owner. The original owner in the last year had the car painted the original Mountain Green (code H, had the original 283 rebuilt, new clutch and resurfaced flywheel, new brakes all around, and new front ball joints and tie rod ends . I bought the car and drove it home 150 miles through rush hour traffic and it ran flawless. Since then I have replaced the battery, spark plugs, oil change, new carpe, and headliner, new seat foam and cover, new door panels, armrests, door and window cranks, chrome dash bezels, instrument bulbs, glove box, dash pad, window and door weatherstrippin, the exterior has very nice or new emblems and the paint is pretty nice with a few blemishes. The tires are 80% and I painted the wheels the green body color. The car had the original black Ca plates and the spare and original jack have also been blasted and painted . The car keys right o, and shifts and drives great. Issues : the Am radio works but needs a speaker, there are a few minor scratches in the exterior paint, there is a small bubble in the paint on the passenger side front fender that I'm assuming is a small rust issue, and the steering column interior needs to be painted. The bed chrome has a few small dings and could be replaced should someone want it to be perfect. I'm selling the car to downsiz, as I have too many cars. The car is sold as-is where is, but I'm happy to help arrange with shipping. The car can be inspected if you want and is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end auction early if that happens . Thanks for looking !
