1959 chevrolet apache 3100 truck project
Description
Solid truck that will require allot of mechanical work to get it on the road again. I pulled the motor and transmission to install in a different truck with the intention of cleaning up the firewall. A few years have passed and I have decided to sell the truck as it is. Pretty much everything is there except a motor and transmission. It had a 5.3/4l60e for several years. The mustang II crossmember and rear leaf spring kit are TCI. the rearend is a ford 9" non posi with axles that have the chevy bolt pattern. it was pulled from a 1969 ford truck. the crossmember and engine mounts were welded by a professional welder. all body work was accomplished over ten years ago by a professional as well. one door was repaired and one is an aftermarket. the cab was media blasted and epoxy primered. The blue color is sherwin williams spectraprime color sprayed as a sealer and has held up pretty good over the years. the frame was powdercoated silver but isnt looking that great anymore. All parts are included (no motor or transmission). New set of ls swap plates included. no radio, a faceplate and knobs were used to make it look like an original radio is in it. an aftermarket heat a/c evaporator underdash unit that was never hooked up is included. The dash heater control isnt hooked up to anything. Brakes will need to be redone although the rear drum brakes were nearly new when it got parked. 225/50/18 front. 255/45/18 rear. steering column is junk and will need to be replaced. bedwood is in ok shape. lots of small scratches and nicks. Hood emblem and fender emblems are driver quality with pitting. one piece side window kit installed ( no vent windows).
