Description

This is a very rare 1984 Monte Carlo SS Only about 15% of these were equipped with a bench front seat. I did not include pictures of the seat, but i can send them. The interior is absolutely like new. Seats are blue cloth (not blue and white) with standard headrest again very rare. There are no stains rips or even ware spots. This car is in as good a condition as any that you will find. Pictures show two wear spots on front bumper cover, there are actually three spots but i only show the two largest. This car was gifted to my son from a religious organization that it had been donated to. The title which is a clear Ohio title that shows this. Because of this we do not have a great deal of history. Apparently the floor matts were always used because all carpet looks new. The body is in excellent condition with one paint imperfection that i show on driver door edge that apparently rubbed off a little. I believe that all paint is original because there is ware in the blue SS stripe on sides of car. The motor is the 305HO with 4bbl. Motor runs absolutely perfect. Auto choke engages immediately on cold start. The car has four new tires on original rims. One rim is missing the center cap. My son received this car about two years ago and it has been in storage, but driven monthly. My Grandson needs money for Grad school at Ohio University and all money will go to that for his Masters in Education (History Teacher). I am not putting a reserve and i think the starting bid is very reasonable. One other rare thing that may not help the sale is the lack of power windows. I believe that the AC worked last year but now seems to need a charge. For an older car this thing is a pleasure to drive. Build date on door Jam shows as 07/84. Thanks for bidding. One more revision before any bids, i have added a picture of surface rust on lip inside rear wheel well on passenger side, this is surface rust and not a hole but, it is there. left side wheel well looks fine.
