1989 Chevrolet C1500 Silverado 5.7L V8

We special ordered this truck from Lou Grubb Chevrolet in Phoenix, AZ in 1989 and have owned it since. It's a great truck and has been used almost continuously until the engine started giving us trouble about 18 months ago. My dad and I were going to restore it but some health problems and increased job responsibilities put that on hold. Hopefully someone else will have a good time getting it running. I think what's wrong with it is the O2 sensor. I've already replaced the fuel pump and injectors and the engine still shuts off intermittently, especially once it's hot. There's no oil leaking into the gas or anything, so I know it's not a major engine issue, but there's probably some component, belt, and hose replacements in your future.
