Description

Up for sale is my 1969 Corvette Roadster. It is an original L71 optioned 427ci, 435hp big block car that currently has a 454 ci engine. I have been working on the car for 2 years and the car is ready to enjoy. I have the original build sheet showing the L71 option, and it is an original 2 top, red exterior and black interior car. The build sheet shows its age but you can still see the L71 option. The interior has been reconditioned with new carpets and all looks excellent. The convertible top is newer and fits great, and the hardtop is in great shape.
I have restored the engine compartment and the undercarriage and it is in near show quality. I did not paint the car but did a lot a work on the paint to make it look a good driver quality. The paint looks good from a short distance but upon close examination you can see touched up chips and scratches and some stress cracks. I have also put all new correct exhaust on the car. The tires are newer white letter Goodyear. The glass is all original and in good shape with a few small pecks but no cracks. The chrome is good driver quality with a couple of small pings on the front bumper.
There are a few things I know about that need corrected by the new owner. I have replaced all the vacuum relays and actuators so the headlights and wiper door will work correctly but the headlights want to raise when car is started but will shortly go back down and stay. The fuel gauge does not read correctly but I did replace the fuel tank sending unit. All other gauges work including the clock and original radio. The emergency brake does not hold car in place.
I purchased this car from an estate and the owner purchased the car in 1988 and mostly sat after the owner became paralyzed. However, he had been accumulating the parts to restore the period correct 427 ci, 435hp engine and install back in car. I have most of the valuable, hard to find engine parts and they will go with the car. Included are the following:
Correct 3x2 carbs and intake427 4 bolt main block-3963512Correct 427 heads-3919840Correct transistor distributor with sending unit-111928Air cleanerCorrect valve covers with drip railsNew oil panAll new carb linkage, gas lines and hosesCrank ShaftThe exhaust manifolds are on the 454 enginemisc other small engine parts

I have a clear Missouri title in my name for easy transfer to you.
I want a happy new owner so nothing replaces a personal inspection of the car so you can see first hand.
