Here we have a very nice, Survivor, 1972 Chevrolet Corvette T-Top Coupe. The car was first judged in 1997 and received the Bloomington Gold SURVIVOR Certificate of Historic Preservation. Subsequent judging was done in 2006 and it received the NCRS TOP FLIGHT AWARD with a raw score of 4411(out of 4510) for a Net Score of 98! Judging sheets are available and go with the car. The car was later spotlighted on the cover of the NCRS newsletter.
This car is finished in Ontario Orange with a Saddle Tan interior and still retains most of its original paint. There are some small chips and scratches and as with many original Corvettes you can see the bonding strip seams through the paint. The car looks good from 5 feet away and the patina makes for good conversation about the originality.
Options include automatic transmission, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows, tilt/telescopic steering wheel and AM/FM radio. Odometer shows 74,000 miles and is believed to be original.
The most recent owner performed several maintenance upgrades/enhancements to make the car very drivable. Any original parts that were removed have been retained and will go with the car. These parts include radiator, intake and carburetor and heads. There are two new AC lines that come with the car and the AC system will need to be serviced. The car runs very well and was used on a recent 300 mile, 5 hour trip without a problem.
Any questions, ask away. You can come in person to inspect the car or send a representative. We will assist with shipping if necessary. The car comes with a New York State transferable registration(Title) and appropriate transfer paperwork. NY State residents must pay NY State Sales Tax.
