Description

Very nice rust free rolling chassis from a 66 Corvette convertible. I have been using this chassis for years as a rolling body dolly for restorations. It has had the 66 parking brake mechanism removed and holes have been welded up. It was originally a convertible chassis, although the middle body mounts used forconvertibles have been removed. Absolutely no rust or rot, came from California and was in Arizona when I acquired it under a 67 coupe body. Still has 3 original 66 Corvette specific wheels on it plus one oddball wheel, brand new radial tires also.
It is a roller, but the front springs are not installed, but they are included. I wanted it to sit level, and without the weight of an engine and transmission in it, the front end will sit too high. A pair of original small block front springs are included if wanted. Front rotors are mounted, steering box is included along with drag link and idler arm. No calipers are included.
The rear suspension has a bare differential case installed, with small block axle yokes. half shafts, and trailing arms. Again, to keep the car level, It does not have a rear spring, I have fixed the ride height by using a wood spacer in place of the shock absorbers. No rear spring is included. No calipers or rear rotors are included.
I have completed all of my Corvette restorations and was hoping to find a midyear Corvette body that needed a nice frame, but none ever came along, so offering this rolling chassis to someone that have a rusty or damaged frame. This frame will look like new after blasting and powder coating or painting.
Selling in as-is condition, no warranty, no returns. Will be sold with bill of sale only, I do not have a title or any tags for this chassis. Shipping will be the sole responsibility of the buyer. It will need to be picked up in Mesa, Arizona where it is currently stored.

Let me say it again, there is no title for this chassis. The listing required me to put a title status in the box, but it will be sold with NO TITLE!!!
