Up for sale is a 1970 Nova! It was originally a six-cylinder two-speed Powerglide car. I purchased the vehicle from the original owner! The vehicle was completely original when I purchased it! The vehicle is now restored (been driving for 5 years), and many things are upgraded! All of the body panels are original and rust free! The hood was replaced only because I wanted a cowl induction hood. The floor has never been patched and still has the original rust proofing on it! The fuel tank is also original and still has the original fiberglass anti-corrosion coating! The body has basecoat clearcoat (Viper GTS Blue). The bumpers, grille, emblems, tail lights, windshield, and trim are all new! The exterior is topped off with 18-inch Foose legend wheels wrapped with 275/45/18 tires in the rear and 225/40/18 in the front. The engine is a big block Chevy 496 Stroker. It is a crate engine that was dynoed at 550 horsepower! I upgraded the camshaft and rocker arms and now estimate the horsepower at 600! It has nothing but the best for parts, scat crank and rods, Wiseco .060 over dome pistons (10.5 to 1 compression), Felpro head gaskets, 1 piece oil pan gasket, Edelbrock performer RPM rectangular port cylinder heads, comp cam mechanical flat tappet camshaft, comp gold roller rocker arms, Edelbrock RPM intake, double roller timing chain, ARP head bolts, 870 Holley Street Avenger with electric choke, MSD pro billet distributor, MSD 6AL CD box, MSD HVC coil, MSD super conductor plug wires, and billet specialties polished aluminum serpentine pulley set up! It has a 4 row aluminum radiator with dual electric fans for a cooling system! For exhaust, it has Hedman super competition headers, 3-inch pipe and Flowmaster mufflers! The transmission is a professionally built TH400 with B&M performance clutches, steels, bands, a heavy duty direct drum and sprag, Transgo shift kit, and a 3500 stall B&M torque converter! The stock rearend was upgraded to a more durable 8.5 inch 10 bolt from a 2nd generation Camaro! It is equipped with a 3.73 gear ratio and an Eaton posi carrier. This vehicle was lowered 2 inches front and rear! The suspension was rebuilt with new balljoints, control arm bushings, springs, subframe connectors, traction bars, and new subframe body mounts! The interior is all original with the exception of the seat upholstery and carpet. The headliner, door panels, kick panels, A pillar trim, B pillar trim, windlace, dash pad, and steering wheel are all original. The seats have been re-upholstered and new carpet installed! The original AM radio still works. Autometer gauges and tach complete the interior. The car runs and drives perfect. This car is extremely quick and will not disappoint!
