Description

1969 Chevy Camaro X55 SS 350 4 Speed Black Fully Restored and Gorgeous

I am pleased to offer this gorgeous, award winning 1969 Chevy Camaro SS. Current owner purchased the car approx. 7 years ago and has driven only about 1500 miles in the last 7 years. Drivetrain is not original but features a Chevy 350 motor. Also, car has been repainted from the original brown to the current tuxedo black. Beautifully restored example of late 60's Americana. Car runs and drives great.

Odometer shows 37,804 +/- miles but that could be 137,804. Exact mileage is unknown.

Features:

- Power steering ( new system added recently - originally manual)

- Power brakes

- Block casting 3932388

- Date A - 30*9, engine pad T0414HA heads, A 24 date

This was a body on restoration. Car was painted in 2004 and shows very well today. Interior features new carpets, console and gauges added. Original headliner and door panels were replaced. Seat covers appear to be original but new foams were added in the front seats. Glass is all original with the exception of the windshield. Glass is in good shape considering the age. AM radio not working.

Rebuilt 350 engine was added in 2004 along with Muncie M-20 trans. All new fuel lines along with brake system were added. Fuel tank and sending unit were replaced. All gauges working fine. New Hurst shifter along with new clutch. Original restored 1969 smog system. Smog tubes are plugged to preserve performance. Added Petronix ignition system. Rebuilt 12 bolt rear with posi.

Wheels - Vintiques 14 X 7 rally wheels. NOS derby caps with repo trim rings. Polyglas tires and an original space saver spare tire. Suspension system total rebuilt. All new D & R exhaust system with transverse muffler.

This car was the recipient of the 2009 AACA National 1st place junior winner.
