Description

Up for auction is my 1979 Chevrolet Blazer 4X4 Cheyenne from the state of Oregon. I'm not sure what date this truck came to Florida, but the title is dated 2016, and it will be sold on an Oregon title. I will consider trades up or down for other collector cars This blazer is extremely solid on top and underneath, bottoms of the doors are near perfect, rocker panels are really nice, floor pans are dry and original free of any... rot. I would consider this truck to be an excellent driver quality exampl, definitely not a show truck, but something you could respectively drive around town and get some enjoyment out of. I would give the paint for 6.5 out of 10, not a Macco paint job but definitely not a high-end repaint. There are some waves in the paintwork, The bodyside molding's are screwed on and not clipped on like the factory, a pretty good scratch in the left-hand corner of the tailgate band. This is a great 10 footer. The inside hood jam is not painted body color, just primed. The Interior is driver quality, the upholstery is free of any rips or tears. Carpet is in decent shape but has its fair share of stains. The headliner is sagging above the front seats. The dash pad is in good shape and not cracked. The electric locks are not functional, nor is the fuel gauge or radio. The power rear window needs to be lubricated, but it's tempting itself to go up and down I just don't want to force it. It has a factory tilt steering wheel. This K5 runs very well, little puff of smoke on start up. It is powered by a goodwrench 350 crate engine. It has power steering and power front disc brakes. It runs and drives pretty good, steering wheel is a little off centered when driving which is an easy fix. The tires have plenty of tread on them. The exhaust has a little bit of a leak and I believe it's coming from the exit of the muffler. I have been pretty critical in describing what this truck looks like in person, as I mentioned before it's an excellent driver and a great foundation for someone to really take it to the next level. It's hard to find rust free examples. Please feel free to ask any questions and if interested set up an appointment to come take a look. I am located in Sarasota Florida. Florida buyers will have to pay sales tax to me, in their appropriate county
