Description

1971 Corvette 454 StingrayFor Sale By Owner. Condition is Used.
I have had this awesome car as my sunny weekend toy since 2002 -- always garaged & only used a few times per year. Numbers matching -- all original except: 1) Cragar S/S chrome wheels (but original GM rims, trim-rings and caps are included in sale). 2) Radiator upgraded to high-capacity aluminum "Be-Cool" so car can idle all day during hot summer parades. 3) Chrome valve covers were installed when I bought car. Virtually everything else is original or NOS replacement.Deluxe black leather interior with power windows. I re-did seats and carpet in 2014 with the professionals at Al Knock. Paint was redone in 2002 when I bought it but is still in great condition. It is the original Ontario Orange color which matches door plate. All chrome is in great shape.Automatic Turbo Hyrdamatic Transmission. T-Tops with leather cases. Power Steering w/ Tele/tilt. Has A/C but belt was thrown and needs to be hooked back up. Typical rust in A-pillar. Small corner crack in fiberglass on headlights. Clock not working.
Maintained flawlessly (service records available) and always garaged. Runs great. Odometer says <34,000 miles I have put only 12,000 miles on the car since 2002. Local Pick-up only -- sold as is, where is, with no warranty. Title is clear. Certified Check. Message me for a time to view. Vehicle is in Monroe, CT (06468). Car is in solid "good to excellent" (2.5+) condition. Priced extremely well at$41,400. Moved recently & no longer have the extra garage bay.
Car is expected to appreciate in value since 1971 was the final year of the full-power big blocks before GM was mandated to de-tune engines in 1972.
No better Father's Day present!
