This is an original 1970 El Camino SS396. It is believed to be numbers matching however, when the motor was rebuilt the block was decked and I can no longer see the numbers. Unfortunately it does have some body rust, the frame has some surface rust but appears to be solid. I do have another body that does come with the El Camino to repair the rust. It runs and drives great, does not smoke or burn any oil. All 5 original SS wheels with four new BF Goodrich radial TA's. It appears to still have it's original spare tire . The transmission shifts nicely as it should, the original 331 Posi rear end works. Air Conditioning blows cold. Map light mirror, Power steering and Power disc brakes, tilt wheel that is nice and tight. Turn signals and back up lights all work. The original SS dash has never been cut and the stereo dash pad is perfect. I added a beautiful black with white striped cowl induction hood with working flapper instead of the standard cowl hood. Even the power windows still work. Newer exhaust system with chrome tips out the back. Originally Cortez Silver with black stripes. Currently registered. This is a nicely optioned El Camino that deserves to be restored. I was going to keep and restore this one for myself but I have too many other projects at the moment and need the room so this one must go to a new home. The price of these have been going through the roof lately. Put in a little sweat equity and cash in. I have bought and sold several vehicles on EBAY without problems so please ask any questions before the auction ends. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. Vehicle is sold as is and where is. $500 deposit due at the end of the auction with full payment due within 5 days. I can store the car and the additional body for a short time while you arrange shipping (if needed). Inspections are welcomed and the car is sold as-is, where is. Thank You and Happy Bidding.
