Description

Up for sale is a beautiful turn-key 1957 Chevy Bel Air Sport Coupe, frame off restored in 2012. The Bel Airhas been garage keptby the previous owner and myself forover 49years!

With a super straight body, the Harbor Blue and Imperial Ivory paint is a classic combination, with a nice shine! The reflective chrome bumpers and chrome accents across the Bel Airare amazing! The interior is beautiful, with the rarely optioned lighter blue inlays within the dark blue seats, paired with deep blue carpeting and matching Harbor Bluepainted dashboard. The headliner is absolutely perfect, and all glass looks good with no chips or cracks. The Bel Air has aclear VA title.

The Bel Air runs and drives great, with a rebuilt 400 small block and 3 speed automatic transmission (each with about 3,000 miles since rebuild) to give the Bel Air smooth, strong, and reliable power with a dual exhaust system! While not a factory original, the 400 was considered a popular upgrade to give more power to the Bel Air than the original 283. A new intake manifold and 4 barrel carb were recently installed, along with an Edelbrock Air Filter and electronic ignition. The original manifold and two-4 barrel carbs for the 400 will be included with the sale.

The Bel Air is equipped withfactory AC,and will need a belt adjustment for ice cold operation. Matching fender skirts are also included with purchase. A working AM/FM Cassette Player provides the sound. Thegas gauge is not operating-it mayneed a new tank sensor, which is an inexpensive repair that I have not had the time to address. I have estimated approx. 16 miles/gal for fuel usage, and usually fill her up after driving about 175-200 miles. A new battery wasinstalled in 2017.

The Bel Air is being sold as-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. The winning bidder will provide a $500 non-refundable deposit due at auctions end, with remaining balance to be paid within7 business days. Buyer is responsible for pick up and/or shipping.
