1977 Chevy Monte Carlo 1971 402 Big Block Chevy Turbo 400
Description
Here is a rust free 1977 Monte Carlo. It’s was sold new in Oklahoma, where it spent all of its life until 2 years ago. The story was that the original motor was pulled for a young kids truck who’s parents bought this Monte for. Long story short, the kid didn’t like the Monte and wanted a truck. So the truck they bought, needed a motor and that’s where I bought it. It was a rolling car when I bought it. These cars are heavy and a little small block just doesn’t do the job. I decided Big Block all the way. The motor is a fresh 1971 402 out of a Monte Carlo. It runs great! Moves the car down the highway like it’s nothing. The car was repainted with PPG paint and clear. DBC is the actual PPG paint I used. Super nice and like I said it was rust free. The Oklahoma sun, had it faded all white. There is one crack in the dash in the very center, very common on these. Also, there is a rip in the seat at the drivers side above your waist. I have NOS trim and badges to finish it up. AC don’t work and need compressior and a couple parts. Heat blows hot! Please contact me if you have any questions. Thanks ChuckWill help with shipping any way possible and I know a guy who can deliver with an open trailer if you need help in getting the car home.
