Description

Here is a real nice 1969 Chevy Blazer 4x4 for your consideration. This truck has just underwent a thorough restoration bringing it back to life. 1969 being the first year for the Blazer with production numbers being somewhere in the low 4,000 made, they are not very common compared to later years.First before I go in-depth on what all has been done, ill give some pertinent info. The Blazer is running a 350 4bbl engine with th350 trans and NP205 transfercase. The axles have been swapped out to 1972 models with the disk brakes in the front. I also changed all the hard lines to 1972 and all are in the stock 72' locations. The Blazer also has power steering. So its a joy to drive compared to most 1969 and 1970 models with drum brakes and no power steering.
After the truck was stripped down to pretty much nothing, the body was Blasted and paint stripped throughout. All rust was properly repaired by myself. Ive been building these for a long time and know them quite well. There weren't many dents to repair in the body. The quarters were quite straight to begin with. The doors are original GM doors that are 100% rust free and were basically perfect to begin with. I re seam sealed everything, all floors, kick panels, rockers, etc. are all now rust free and will last pretty much forever. the floors are all painted body color. Everything was properly repaired and blocked numerous times. Its sprayed in the original color of Copper Poly. I used PPG products throughout. Base coat clear coat. The frame and underside of the body are painted with SEM satin black. All body bushings and hardeware were replaced and properly shimmed to get the best door and fender gaps possible. Practically everything on this Blazer has been replaced or restored. It has a new fuel tank and sending unit, all new shocks, bumpers, grille assembly is all new. I purchase the best parts I can find, GM certified when possible. There are lots of NOS gm parts on this truck as well as lots of good original parts. The front brake calipers, pads, wheel bearings and seals are all new, rubbed brake lines, master cylinder, booster and proportioning valve are new. When I opened up the engine, it was completely clean and had been completely rebuilt very recently before I purchased it so I re sealed it, painted everything, replaced the cam and lifters and oil pump. I also replaced the power steering pump, alternator, fuel pump, water pump, motor mounts, basically everything on the outside of the engine has been done and detailed. The steering box, tie rod ends are all new, wheels are blasted and powder coated with new BF Goodrich 33 10.50 15 All terrains and excellent original hubcaps. All of the inner fenders, core support, numerous other small parts and pieces have been powder coated satin black. Also all of the seat brackets etc.I had the original seats completely rebuilt and redone with a tan houndstooth and tan leather. $1,800 worth. They look and feel awesome. Definitely one of a kind. The interior side panels and door panels are new and match. All weatherstripping and seals throughout the entire truck are all new, dash pad, carpet, floor mats are all new. The original gauge cluster has been gone through. The fuelgauge, speedometer, oil pressure etc all works. Horn works. Theres a new comfort grip steering wheel on it. High and low beam lights all works, new dimmer switch. Every light bulb in the truck is new. Some of the wiring harness's are new. If it needed them, it got them. All lower woodgrain trim, tailgate trim etc etc is all new, Newwindshield and seal, all brand new aluminized dualexhaust with Dynomax turbos. Sounds perfect. Some emblems are new, some are excellent originals. The heating system has all been gone through with new heater core, newcontroller etc. Honestly there is entirely too much to list thats been done to this truck. The top is the original 1969 top and is all repaintedbody color on the inside and white on the outside like it should be. It also has all new seals and weatherstrips. I'll fasten it to the truck once its sold. As of rite nowI've got about 5 miles on the entire build but plan to drive it this week to make sure there are no bugs to work out.Ive spent a ton of money and time building this special K5. Youwon't see another like it thats for sure. The little I have driven it, its a joy, its tight, quiet and gets lookslike crazy. I'm open to offers on the truck, its not priced crazy like a lot of them oneBay. I have a fair reserve price on it. If you want it, make an offer. This is a very well sorted truckwith a lot of attention to detailthroughout. Its not been thrown together andrattle can restored. Anyquestions feel free to ask.Buyer isresponsible for any and all shipping costs,I'm happy to workwith your shipper. No problems there. Nowarranty on this vehicle obviously. I have probably 70 photos on my phone of this Blazer. Ican't seem to figure how to get more than 24 on here. Again,I'm leaking out a lot of things that have been done. It would take another hour to go through all of the small stuff. Like I said before, if it needed it, it received it.

On Jun-24-19 at 07:26:34 PDT, seller added the following information:

A few things I forgot to mention:All vin numbers match throughout the truck and on the title. The title is clear and ready to go. Im not sure if the radio works or not, its the original AM. I have a new stock type antenna hooked to it but I don't have a speaker for it. The factory speaker that hangs under the dash is missing and I haven't been able to find one for it. The glove box liner is new, defrost hoses are all new, the heater and defrost system all works properly. The hood gaps are probably better than when the truck was new. The rocker boxes are the originals to the truck and have never had any rust issues, nor has the cargo floor area. The rear wheel tubs are new as well as all hardeware. All the the body bolts, close to 100, are all new correct style satin black body bolts. Ive tried to restore and reuse all of the original specialty hardeware throughout the truck. Of course all of the brake fluids, power steering fluids, coolant and oils are all new. The tailgate is not original to the truck but is a mint original GM tailgate I had. It has been completely blasted and restored. Things like the carpet hold downs in the back are good originals, as are the side panel chrome strips etc. The quadrajet was completely rebuilt and performs as it should. The points distributor was discarded and an HEI setup was added. The kick down cable was replaced, the mechanical throttle linkage is sorted out and works as it should. The starter is new, New AC Delco battery, new cables, belts hoses, you get the point.I just want to be as thorough as possible.
