This is a bone stock, unmolested, reconditioned 1987 Silverado square body. Offered in the classic and eye-catching colorre, this pickup has survived 32 years without being abused, heavily modified, or otherwise altered from stock configuration. Tasteful aftermarket upgrades include atonneau cover and dual exhaust. Aside from those upgrades, this truck is basically exactly how it rolled off the lot back in the '80s! Even the paint and wheels are in well-preserved original condition. Though you may find minor wear and scratches in the paint finish, this can certainly be expected on an original vehicle this old. The exterior is in overall great condition, and needs nothing to be enjoyed as-is.
The interior, much like the rest of the truck, is almost all original minus replacement of various wear items over the years. It even has the original radio seated in an un-cut all original dash! For being original, the interior is in very impressive condition showing only minor wear on the seat. If you're looking for a time machine back to the late 1980s, this just might be your ride!
Under the hood isthe original 5.7 liter Chevrolet V8. By 1987, these puppies were EFI rather than carbureted. When dialed in appropriately, TBI systems are more reliable than carburetors and help to make vehicles like this easy to drive on a daily basis so should you choose. The engine runs great and feels strong. Hooked up to a 700R4 automatic transmission, this truck would be a great daily driver or around town errand runner.
This is the most "modern" factory square body built, with the GMT400 phasing it out for 1988. Unmolested, examples like this are getting harder and harder to find! This truck won't last long as it Runs and Drives like new ... Looks like it just rolled off the Showroom Floor ...
