chevrolet 1952 Deluxe Convertible with Morrison chassis
Description
1952 Chevy Deluxe Convertible . These are hard to find because they only built a little over 12,000in 1952and this is the last year before the body change. The car has great lines and would make an excellent candidate for restoration, as everything is here.It would make an even better car as a restomod with and LS, od transmission and a/c.Original colors were Admiral Blue with light and dark blue leather which is long gone. Original top color was grey. The car was built in Lansing,MI. I believe it retains the original engine and transmission. The last time it was on the road was 1971. Kept in a hay barn in South Dakota and no it is not a barn find, they knew it was there. Years ago someone painted the whole car red, added skirts, aftermarket hub caps, hood ornament and a bottle opener in the trunk. This must have been a fun car. In later years someone started removing paint and stopped leaving it look like a patchwork quilt. Everything is there including the heater, clock, radio, all the window regulators, stainless trim, convertible top frameand pump. I have a new Art Morrison chassis that goes with it. If not sold I will relist without the chassis. Any questions please contact me. I have owned it for over 3 years and am never going to get it finished, so I am selling it. Needs complete restoration. For a 68 year old car it's in pretty good shape.Payment must be received within 3 days or it will be relisted. You are responsible for making all freight arrangements and I will assist the trucking agency with pickups. Vehicle needs to be picked up within 30 days. Open South Dakota title.
