Description

No reserve, If you are looking for a killer truck to build this winter look no further as you can drive this one as you work on it, True barnfind and very hesitant about selling this one for the simple fact of how hard this truck will be to replace and how nice of an undercarriage it has ie..door bottoms, floors, frame, cab supports and cab mounts, What little rust it has is easily repairable, With that said this is a one family owned 1966 Chevrolet C10 swb custom cab fleetside pickup truck with the hard to find big back window that someone is going to be very satisfied to own, Only 81,560 actual miles, True Alabama barn find purchased brandnew there and has remained in the area ever since, This truck was originally painted a factory two tone light blue w/white roof and white bed side stripes and still retains all of it's factory fawn colored paint inside, Never spray bombed with rattle can paint and ruined like many you see, Non original 350ci V8 engine w/3 speed manual transmission replaced the original 283ci engine 35 years ago in 1985 when the truck was sprayed a burgundy color over the light blue and white paint, All side trim was replaced back then with GM NOS trim which is still in excellent condition and to top it off this truck does have the very desirable "537" two tone light blue and white paint code, Makes for a beautiful truck restored, Custom cab big window trucks with this color combination are getting very difficult to find, There is a small amount of rust in the common areas ie.. fender bottoms, hood, and door skins all very repairable, Rockerpanels, door bottoms, cab corners, floors, frame and all body mounts and cab supports are nice as well as around and above both the front and rear glass, (See undercarriage pictures) All original glass, 90% rust free straight southern body, Never wrecked, rawhided or abused and never subjected to salty roads or climates, Both doors open and close with ease, Runs and drives fine for a 54 year old truck, Some smoke at start up, Brakes work fine, Frontend is tight, Tailgate needs to be installed and needs the new chains and latches available from LMC truck parts and accessories, Thin metal bed floor w/old wood underneath, Overall a very neat father/son/daughter project to restore back as original or build it to suit yourself, LS swap? lowered? patina build? Many possibilities with this one, Wheels, tires and hubcaps shown not included as they belong on another truck I own, Truck will come with a set of later model 8" Chevrolet rally wheels/tires, If you have been looking for this particular truck ie.. blue/white big window combo this one is worth taking a look at and you just might not want to miss out on this one, Feel free to contact Paul @ 901-219-9569 with any questions, Serious inquires only please, If no answer please leave a detailed message and I will return your call as soon as possible, Bank wire transfer preferred for payment and/or cash as it is the quickest and safest method of payment for both the buyer and the seller, If you cannot follow our payment instructions please look elsewhere, Sold in as-is condition with a clean clear title which has already been applied for in my name (Alabama was a non title state in 1966), Thanks again for looking and bidding, Possible delivery up to a certain distance for $1.00 a loaded mile.
