Description

Offered For Sale by the California Automobile Museum 1932 Chevrolet Woody Wagon We Offer Financing In 1932, Chevrolet never made a Woody Wagon, so Len & Phillis did! Now, to be completely honest (and after searching Google) you could order a woody body at the dealership and it could be installed on a Chevy truck frame). Starting with the cowl, hood, hood sides and frame of a ’32 Model BA car, they measured, cut, welded, boxed and bolted… and that was just the... metal parts! The Ash wood body was crafted on a metal frame. The fiberglass fenders completed this one-of-a-kind street rod, chopped for that just right look. After working tirelessly on the car for six years, Len entered the “Woody” in the 2016 Sacramento Autorama. Sadly, Len passed away the month prior. However, his buddies made sure it made its debut, and the car won 1st Place in its class! It was featured as the cover story in the March 2017 Cruisin’ News. This car has less than 1,000 miles on the build. Exterior: Finished in Hugger orange, the car is in show condition. No dings, dents or cracks. Beautiful chrome, polished American Racing wheels. The wood and glass are beautiful! Interior: Two tone leather interior, German square weave carpet. Ididit tilt column with banjo steering wheel. Lokar shifter. Auto Meter Pro-Comp gauges housed in a hand-crafted dash. Electric doors and windows, and Vintage Air conditioning. Motor and Driveline: 1986 Tuned Port Injected Corvette motor, 700 R4 Automatic Overdrive. Rearend is C3 Corvette IRS with coil overs. Four wheel disc brakes. If you would like a truly unique street rod that’s a blast to drive, this Woody is for you. You couldn’t build it for close to the $50,000 asking price, let alone have the time and patience to build it. You’ll be proud driving an Autorama Winner!
