Description

1959 Chevy Apache Fleetside. Very solid body no rust. This isnt a rusty patina truck. This is a solid no rust truck with patina paint that is very nicely done. I have had several hot rods and this is the best driving, most reliable truck I’ve owned. Engine is from early 80’s Chevy SBC 350 with very small cam. Engine has about 5000 miles on it from full rebuild. It starts first crank EVERYTIME regardless of how long it’s sat (including in cold weather). Edelbrock 4 barrel with electric choke—rebuilt in the past year. Front clip is Mustang II about 2 years old with power steering and chrome accents. Rear diff is Camaro and all 4 wheels are 5x4.75”. Wheels are Mobsteel 20” with chrome trim. Front tires bought in Feb 2016. Rear have easily 80% tread left with even wear and never any problems with any leaks. Transmission is a 700R4 4 speed transmission--shifts very well—oil and filter freshly changed. Power brakes (disk front and drum rear), power steering, tilt wheel, heat works well. Valves are SMC, tank/compressor is Viair, front bags are Slam Specialities, and rear Firestone 2600lb. Optima red top battery.
Windows and doors open and close great. Front windshield/weatherstrip, side glass/vents/weatherstripping, and side glass frames painted in past 12 months. Upgraded steering wheel and trim. Seat and headliner are new marine grade vinyl. Both upper door hinges replaced and rebuilt the lower hinges 12 months ago. Door handles/window cranks are new. Has plug in for iphone/ipod with two 6x9 Pioneers behind seat. Entire interior cab freshly repainted in past 6 month.
Viair bag pressure gauges, temp, volts, oil pressure all work great. Speedometer is about 10-20mph off depending on how fast you’re going—needs new speedo gear in trans speedo input…gas gauge works, but reads ¼ tank off needs fuel sender arm/float adjusted. Gauge dimmer works, horn works, inside cab light works. Rear taillights are LED…all lights/flashers/hazards work like they should. Truck is for sale local and i reserve the right to end the auction early with a local sale.
