Description

For sale is my 1961 Chevrolet Corvette. I have owned this beautiful car for 12 years. The exterior restoration was completed by the previous owner about 14 years ago. The engine restoration was completed by myself about 5 years ago. I obsessively followed the 1961 National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) Technical Book for all of my engine restoration work, as I wanted it done correct and done once.

All the engine parts are the correct part numbers and dating for the car. All parts are original, rebuilt or new reproductions. Even though you can only see the very top of the water pump where it mounts onto the engine, I purchased an original rebuilt water pump ($500). There are no aftermarket incorrect engine parts on the engine, except for the harmonic balancer. However, I am providing you with the original harmonic balancer which should be rebuilt and then replaced on the engine. I will include copies of every receipt for the parts purchased for the engine restoration.

The exterior paint combination of Jewel Blue with White Coves and Blue interior is my favorite color combination, as the pictures show just how beautiful and classic this combination looks.

The overall paint condition is very nice. It does have one small hard to see crack about an inch long on the rear body near the truck lid that has developed over the years. The chrome is in very nice condition throughout.

I have loved driving this car to cruises, car shows or just to get away on a Sunday afternoon. It receives a lot of attention, people waving, giving thumbs up and taking pictures. That is one of the best things about owning a classic car, are all the great conversations and stories that you have with people so excited to see your car.I hope you enjoy owning and driving this beautiful car as much as I have. Good luck.
