Description

1990 Chevrolet K1500 Silverado, Regular Cab Pickup. Short, wide box, Z71 Off Road, 4 x 4, 5 speed, 5.7 liter - 350 ci original motor. Bought new in western Montana and with the second owner since 1993 located in eastern Washington's dry, desert country. No rust in body ever and only mild surface corrosion on undercarriage parts. Clean Carfax.
Motor runs strong with no leaks, smoking or hesitation. Throttle Body Ignition system (TBI) works fine. Factory AC, converted to R134, blows cold. The engine compartment appears completely stock. The 4wd system works properly in both high and low ranges. The clutch is tight and the 5 speed transmission functions correctly. The original motor does not appear to have ever been out of the truck. The rear end has 3.73 gears and is not posi (per the RPO codes).
Tilt wheel, power windows and locks, factory AM/FM/Cassette. Radio works fine - am not sure about the cassette since haven't had one for at least a decade. Power steering and power brakes are in good condition. Brakes have the RWAL system - rear wheel antilock brake system - GM's original start to providing a true ABS system later in the 90's. Factory wheels are a bit scuffed but generally clean, and the tires have about 70% tread remaining.
There are no cracks in any of the glass including the rear slider. There are no seat rips or tears. The headliner is intact with a bit of the center sagging as is common with these trucks. Both door armrests are cracked and do not snug up tightly to the interior trim panels, but they are intact and functional. All lights, gauges and power equipment function properly.
The body is very straight with a pristine box floor. The paint is new in the past six months largely due to overall fading, and not due to any collision damage or rust.
Clear Washington title. Shipping/transportation is the responsibility of the purchaser, and we will assist in any reasonable manner. After being paid for, the truck can be stored for six or eight weeks on behalf of the purchaser if necessary. Fly in and drive it home.
