1970 Chevrolet C10, Shop Truck, SWB, Short Bed, Rat, 350/350, Rare color Combo
Description
Are you looking for your next short bed C10 project? I have the perfect truck for you!
This 1970 C10 was born finished in a relatively rare, highly desired color combo with a 350ci engine and a th350 transmission. It has added power steering but retains the manual drum brakes that have been gone through and work great. The engineand trans are original to the truck and the engine has been rebuilt.I have a like new set of truck rallys that will be included in the sale. It does run and drive and stop great but I wouldn't take it far because the wheels on the truck currently are rollers at best and the tires are garbage.
The body is in great condition for a mostly un-restored 49 year old truck. The roof, cab, bed, fenders and hood hood are all pretty solid, the rockers have been replaced at some point but the rest is original GM metal. The bed floor has some surface rust but is solid as well with no holes. It does have a hole in the floor on the passenger side behind the seat of all places that can be patched or you can replace the floor pan.The body trim is all there but needs to be re-polished and painted or just replaced. The glass is clear and all there it does have a new windshieldthat was recently installed.
The interior was originally red and is still visibleunder current cover, but will need to be redone. LMC truck sells the complete interior package if you wanted to restore it to what it was like it rolled off the line or it can be customized to suit your liking and budget.
The value of these trucks is constantly rising, they have a huge aftermarket and faithful following. This one being a true short bed in a desired color combo with the original drive train is a rare find for sure and the upside potential is certainlythere. I attached a picture of a black and white one that I built and sold about a year ago. I know what I sold that truck for and what it cost to build and I am telling you with a few dollars and a little know how... you cant go wrong. Its also very hard to get upside down in these trucks as the market has gone completely crazy.
All that said I believethe asking price is vary fair and pretty firm. I purchased this truck to restore but since haven't had much time and I hate to let it sit. It don't eat though and I don't have any habits I cant afford so save the BS offers... I do require a non-refundable deposit of $250 due within 48 hours of an accepted offer and full payment to be made within 7 days.
I can help you set up shipping if need be.
