The body enhancements include the hood, front nose, rear quarters and rear end. The body work was done to very high standards by Mid-America Industries. It was painted PPG 2016 Daytona Sunrise Orange with Owens- Corning L88-style black stripes by Radley Chevrolet. The paint quality is truly remarkable and the color is beautiful. It's equipped with removable T-Top roof panels that were painted to match. The front tinted windshield is new and a custom-painted cowl panel was wrapped around the working wipers. The dual front headlights and fiberglass front bumper look stunning. The front window trim, dual mirrors, door handles, front grille, side vents, lower molding and emblems were painted black. The T-Top bar, corners of the windshield, and hood pin plates were wrapped in carbon fiber. The car sits on new Team III ET wheels that are 18x10" on the front and 18x12" on the rear. The wheels are wrapped with sticky BFGoodrich G-Force Rival tires that are 275-35-18 on the front and 335-30-18 on the rear. The all-new black interior looks great and is all business. Everything in the interior was restored or replaced, such as the wiring, dash pad, door panels and carpeting. The dash, custom panels and custom console were wrapped with carbon fiber. Some of the interior upgrades include a 4-point roll bar, black billet rear view mirror, AutoMeter Pro-Comp gauges, custom switches, Ididit tilt steering column, Ididit steering wheel, Corbeau bucket seats, JEGS racing style harness seatbelts, black billet lightening shifter, Vintage Air and carpeted Corvette floor mats. The engine compartment is highly detailed and home to the fuel-injected BluePrint LS3 427ci V8 engine that sounds absolutely incredible, which puts out 618hp engine dyno sheet is included. It's equipped with a Holley accessory drive system, fuel pump and alternator. The engine has been dressed with custom-painted valve covers that have carbon-fiber letter inserts. The engine runs and sounds excellent out the Stahl stepped headers with 3-1/2" side pipes that have Sweet Thunder free-flowing inserts. The engine is cooled by a DeWitts high-performance aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The engine is coupled to a Tremec TKO-600 5-speed manual transmission and the Street Slayer Ceramix hydraulic clutch, which were both supplied by American Powertrain. The power is transferred to the pavement through the built Dana 44 rear end with 4:10 gears. The power rack & pinion steering unit operates precisely. The undercarriage is very detailed with many custom features throughout. The body sits on a custom chassis built by Mid-America Industries. The car is equipped with a new C4 suspension system with Aldan coilovers in the front and Bilstein shocks with competition mono-leaf springs in the rear. The braking system consists of power 4-wheel disc brakes with a CPP master cylinder, C4 Corvette calipers and Pro Tech slotted rotors. It has a Fuel Safe 22-gallon fuel cell and Optima red top battery. This car leaves people speechless. This car has recently been serviced and detailed, which is documented with an invoice that is included.
This was a no expense spared high end quality build and it is an absolute blast to drive! It has incredible power and acceleration and handles like its on rails the power to weight ratio is perfect. It is a well though out and executed build with safety precautions and equipment in place. It could be auto cross raced if desired or driven on long haul rally's or simply driven and enjoyed. It would cost in excess of $150k to duplicate along with a year wait. You can get in this car tomorrow and enjoy it at a fraction of the replacement cost.
The build of this car was documented on corvetteforum.com and it has been featured on multiple performance websites.
