Selling this 1968 Chevrolet Corvette to facilitate a family member with health needs, so bare with us while we gather more information and photographs. This car was purchased in 2013, at that time the engine (original matching numbers) was completely serviced and freshly painted with red lacquer. In the 6 years of ownership the new owner has put less than 3,000 as he just took it to car shows and rides along the beach. The previous owner said the car had over 157k miles, however, from the condition of the interior, it seems like it only has 57k miles but we want to me upfront about what was told to us. The only major issue with the car right now is that it needs new brakes which the owner cannot accommodate at this time. The car has been garaged it's entire life and it shows. There can be numerous small issues with a 51 year old car and rather to guess or list all those items, we highly encourage inspection of the car to answer any questions, or please email us with your questions or requests for additional photographs and we will be happy to accommodate you in that regard. You can obtain very reasonable vintage car insurance with Gundy or Haggerty for under $200 a year.

AGAIN INSPECTION IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED AS WELL AS ASKING QUESTIONS. Car is sold as-is, no repairs or concessions will be made for the sale. The car is for sale locally so we reserve the right to end the sale early. All offers are to be made through Ebay and the purchase carried out through the Ebay process to protect both the buyer and the seller.
A $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 24 hours at the time of purchase for the buy-it-now feature. This is to discourage prospective buyers from not following through with the purchase which happens all the time. At that time we will send you a copy of the bill of sale. Full balance of the purchase price is due within 7 days. There will be no wait time to secure financing. Balance may be paid via cash, EFT or mail of a certified check. Once the EFT is received and/or certified check is cleared, you will be mailed the title (or you can pick up of course) along with the final bill of sale. If you have specific requirements or needs please just ask so that we can accommodate. Sorry for all the rules/regs but past car selling experience problems on Ebay dictates!
If you need additional time for pickup/shipping that is not a problem, the car will remain insured and garaged, however we encourage pickup within 2 weeks of purchase. Car cannot be re-titled until it is picked up or we cannot be responsible for any reason. Title will be signed/released upon day of pickup.
