1956 Chevy Panel Truck
Hard to find! This one runs and drives.Turn the key and she fires right up!
Pros:
- Only a few miles on a rebuilt 327 (block code VO5I7YS) and rebuilt TH350.Both were rebuilt by a professional machine shop and transmission shop, respectively.
- Rear axle is from a Camaro (axle code 2JH C113 2) and has drum brakes, a newer pinion seal and 3.23 gears.
- Front clip is from a Camaro, possibly 2nd generation and has disc brakes.
- New power steering gear box, new tires, power brakes, vintage air.
- Comes with hundreds of dollars worth of new parts (door/window seals, door/window cranks, wiper motor and wipers, etc.)
Cons:
- Steering is a little loose(will need to be fixed before hitting highway speeds)
- Speedometer does not work (cable not attached to rebuilt transmission).
- Driver and passenger window seals need replaced (seals included - see pic).
- Fallen tree limb dented roof on driver's side midway down body.
- She is not perfect, so look closely and ask for closer pics of areas of concern.
