Sale may end early if car is sold locally. Car is being driven to NorCal area car shows.
As seen on Barn Finds:
+) NO AC/HEAT/DEFROST (when Dominic built the car he literally removed all of it)
+) Rare swivel seats
+) Built as a Cannonball Run Movie tribute/replica car (photo shows what it used to look like -- no stickers currently)
+) I have owned since 2014
+) TOO MANY TOYS & own two 1975 Laguna S-3’s this red one and a black one, so one has to go.
+) SBC 350 bored 30 over w mild cam & 148 heads (per original builder)
+) 650 cfm carb with electronic choke
+) Thrush 304 exhaust (sounds delightful)
+) 2.73 rear end gear ratio (cruising not drag racing)
+) Turbo 350 transmission
Within the last 1,000 miles I have mechanics receipts for the following totaling about $2k (runs clean and smooth) just took her down to Laguna Seca for Cars & Coffee.
+) New starter
+) New steering linkages and bushings (handles great)
+) New throttle cable
+) New spark plugs & good compression test (all within 10% as it should)
Within the last 60-days
+) New Interstate Battery
+) Fresh oil change and mechanical presale check,
+) New Autometer Ultra-Lite digital gauges
Here is a start up video of it running (sounds so awesome):
Odometer reading changing as I'm driving it to car shows, it is currently approximately 48,000 but total mileage is unknown, I'm sure the chassis has over 100k. I would guess the engine build has relatively few and while I've owned it, all very easy miles (less than a few thousand). Speedometer works well. Tachometer is non-functional. Autometer oil temp, oil pressure and water temp all functional. Autometer transmission temp gauge hooked up with power but sender unit not placed in pan so gauge reads zero (sender unit included).
No international sales.
Please not looking for help selling.
Not in a rush to sell, I really love this car but I promised the wife since I have two of the exact same car, I'd let one go. I had always intended to do a traditional "Cannonball Run" in this car from NYC to Redondo Beach but since 2012 I've been involved in vintage desert racing and have 2 young children so this car just hasn't been used. The photo of the car with the "tribute cannonball run" sticker set was when Dominic originally built the car. As can be seen, no stickers on the car currently.
