1985 GMC Sierra Classic SWB in near Perfect Original Condition. One would be very hard pressed to find a fully restored model in the same pristine condition of this Beauty. This is a truck that was babied and maintained regularly. These C-10 SWB trucks have recently made a resurgence in popularity. They are forever remembered as the last true era of collectible trucks......prior to the complicated-computerized and less easily serviced modern era trucks. These trucks are easy to work on and a tune up is just a small routine chore. These trucks are a fond reminiscent of a forgotten bygone era. This truck has had two owners that meticulously maintained this truck to full perfection. The maintenance on these trucks is so easy, any corner street garage can service them. It being purchase, owne, and used solely in South Texas....is a "Rust Free" truck. The interior of this truck has been professionally restored and replaced to its original New condition. With no expense spare, the interior is virtually spotless and like new. Every aspect of the interior has been tediously color matched, repaired, replaced to bring it as close as possible to its original condition. I rate the interior a conservative 9.5 /10. This truck was repainted about 4 years ago. It was professionally painted with no expense spared. The color was matched as closely as possible to its original factory color scheme. The paint is extremely nice! The Chrome Bumpers are untarnished and give off a like new mirror-like finish in their reflection. The grill is in excellent condition. The vintage looking rally sport style wheels are a perfect match for this trucks color combination. They are wrapped with like new standard size tires with excellent tread......ready for any adventure. This truck is Sharp! Everywhere it is drive, the response is smiles and compliments. This truck is equipped with a rebuilt V-8 engine. Although not required at the time, It was recently rebuilt about five years ago for good measure. This Sierra Classic truck is paired with an automatic shift 700r transmission. The C-10 has Power Windows and Locks . The Air Conditioning blows Ice Cold. This engine along with the automatic transmissio, full drive lin, suspension, shock, wheel, tire, and alignment combine to make this truck possibly the smoothest vintage truck that I have ever driven. It also has a newer Retro appearance LED Stereo. I have driven many and personally sold over fifty Chevy and GMC Trucks. I cannot remember a more smoother driving and even acceleration in a classic truck. It literally drives and rides like a modern era truck. These two owners made sure this truck would always perform the same way that it did 34+ years ago...there are no apologies necessary for this truck mechanically whatsoever. Solid! Mechanically overall a 10/10. This truck has a Free and Clear Texas Title. This means it is free of any bank loans, The mileage is listed off of the dash odometer. I cannot confirm the exact mileage on a truck of this age. If I had to guess, I would say fewer miles than more. In Texas all vehicles are sold exempt mileage if they are 10 years or older. it has had no major accidents and is ready to be assigned to the next owner. The current owner is a retired elderly gentleman in a small town just thirty miles outside of San Antonio. You will receive the clear and signed title as well as the original owners manual located in the glove box. In Texas, over the past 100 years, trucks have been known as a form of status. Unlike other state, many will use a truck to drive to and from work in the city. Generall, in rural area, the wealthier farmers and ranchers have typically owned two or more personal/work trucks. Usually one of those trucks would be designated for city/town use only. With the city/town truc, it would always be the cleanest, least driven, and was never used for work duties. This truck is a prime example of the city truck. This truck may very well be one of the cleanest original C-10 body trucks in Texas.
