1963 Long Fleet
Description
Good running 292 with 4-speed w/granny gear. Manual choke, starts easily, idles steady. It has been in regular rotation as a daily ride for five years. It has hooker headers and true duals with glass packs, so it makes noise if you want, but can be driven quietly. Has drums all around and Armstrong steering. New master cylinder. Carb replaced last summer and has HEI distributor. Interior replaced, fresh paint, new rubber floor mat, seat reupholstered. All accessories work. Converted to single wire alternator so it has strong running voltage and bright lights. Tail lights converted to LED bulbs. New bed wood done last summer, with frame rails treated at that time. Frame is very solid, nothing but some surface rust. Cab corners and floor are sound/rust free as are door bottoms. Bottom of front fenders have typical bubbles that I just keep in check. Grill support has bubbles over one headlight that likewise are just kept in check. She is just a good, solid, reliable truck. Had a lot of good miles with this truck, but just have too many rigs and too little time. This can easily remain a daily as-is, or is a great candidate for small block swap.
