Hagerty's Valuation tool has a 1972 Chevrolet Camaro SS w/ RS pkg priced at $17,640 in #4 fair condition. This Camaro SS is a driver project, and that's why we are selling it for considerably less. Also please feel free to make an offer because this '72 SS is available for sale locally.
This '72 Camaro SS/RS has the Z27 code on it's cowl tag signifying it's a true SS. The Z22 code for RS would typically not be stamped on a cowl tag of a SS Z27 or a Z28 since those were the primary packages.Interior is a black bucket seat interior with console. The seats, console, and dash are in pretty good condition. The dash looks to have been redone or new. The driver side door panel is missing it's center piece, but the top and bottom are pictured in one of the photos. There are photos of the interior after this description. The engine is a Chevy 400 paired to an automatic. The engine in the car is not the original motor. The SS looks to be an original 350 car. The small block starts right up with no smoke, and drives fine. There is a video of the Camaro running after this description.Factory 15 inch Chevy Rally wheels. The tires are Firestone Firehawk radials. All center caps and trim rings are there. The frame is good, so are some of the body panels, and most of the floors. There is bondo in the quarters and the trunk. The floor is good except for behind the driver seat where anamateurpatch was put in the foot well. This is a great muscle car to bring back to it's original SS/RS glory. There's pics of every panel for you to personally inspect the '72 after this description. There's also a walk around video of this SS after thisdescription.Pictured is every body panel individually so you can see for yourself. Please review all pictures, videos, and ask for more if needed, and/or come and see this classic before bidding on this Camaro.Bottom lineis that this is a nice 1972 Chevrolet Camaro SS w/ RS package and black Bucket Seats console interior, that is an awesome driver/project. We've priced it below Hagerty's fair value because it's a driver classic that needs work to be bring it back, but at least the work can be done as you drive it.Please bid on this vehicle if you're completely comfortable with purchasing this vehicle.
