1962 Chevrolet Impala Barn Find

Description

This car was recently pulled from a barn near Dallas, Texas. Has been a Texas car its whole life, sold new at Vandergriff Chevrolet. The original owner passed away a few years ago and a family member recently sold the car. I did a quick tune up and it runs great. These items are new:

-gas tank

-sending unit

-front brake shoes, wheel cylinders, rubber brake hoses

-rear brake hose

I drive the car quite a bit. It will need tires soon since they are very old. This car is very solid, but will need to be restored or you can drive it the way it is with the nice patina. More pictures upon request.

The car still has all the original t-3 headlights that still work. I posted a picture of the two rust spots on the car. The front right fender has some surface rust at the bottom and the drivers side rear floor under the rear seat has some minor rust. The floor is hard and not soft but does have a couple small holes the size of a pencil eraser. The paint on the car is cracked and will need repainting. Car still has the original 283 2 barrel powerglide. Engine suffix is DK. Engine was assembled before the body and all numbers matching. I dont think the engine has been rebuilt or out of the car but it runs great. Does not use oil. No smoke. No knocks. Any questions please call me or text me at 214-715-7629.
