Description

EXTERIOR: This is a striking car. The color combination and the stance really make it. The body is exceptionally clean and straight. Looking down either side, they're like looking at a mirror. All the body gaps are really nice. Upfront ALL of the chrome is gorgeous. Down the sides, all the stainless trim is straight and shiny. In back the chrome is all new. Glass is all nice and clear. The door jambs are painted nice with new weather strips.... Wheels are painted to match the car, has poverty hubcaps in excellent shape and radial tires. INTERIOR: It is in excellent condition inside. All correct upholstery and door panels. New carpet, headliner and visors are new. The dash area us nice, the black metal is painted glossy. It does have a retro stereo in the factory hole with an auxiliary plug and speakers in the kick panels. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Show worthy, it looks sharp under the hood. I love what they did with the air cleaner and valve cover- blue with silver racing stripe. All the components are cleaned and painted. Firewall is body color. This six cylinder engine was very successful for Chevy. Has the optional oil filter. From 1929-1954 the online 6 was the only motor Chevy offered. It was still available until 1990. I would say it has a good track record. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It looks like a clean rust free trunk, it's been painted blue. The rubber mat is new. Has a complete jack assembly and spare. Bottom of the trunk lid is painted glossy, new weatherstrip. UNDERSIDE: Very solid frame and floors. Body bushings are new. Shocks and brake hoses were replaced. New fuel tank and sending unit. This 57 looks as sharp as cars twice the price. KISS- Keep It Simple Stupid. This one doesn't have all the modern gadgets and gizmos but it will run all day and is way easier to maintain! I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
