For sale here is a very cool 1949 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup in great condition. Its has an excellent body and professionally done dark blue paint job. The body, as you can see in the pics, is very smooth and the paint really shines. The underside is very solid as well. The bumpers are in good shape and all the glass is good. This cool 1/2 ton Chevy runs and drives well. The 235 6 cylinder was rebuilt by the previous owner. The 3-speed trans shifts well and the truck is fun to drive around town or to the hardware store.
The oak wood bed is very solid and ready to haul stuff. The glass is clean and the windows roll up and down nicely. The doors and hood open and shut well. The hood does stay up when its put up. The driver's door lock does work. The hubcaps are correct and in good condition. The tires are correct 16" but are a little on the old side. Some like the wide whitewall look also. The apron for behind the front bumper is rust free and included. Will need painted to match.
The interior is original and is in decent shape. The cab floors are rock solid and so is the rest of the cab. The original seat is in good shape with 1 small worn spot. All of the gauges are working, except the fuel ga. The speedometer works. Horn works. Wipers work. Needs a new wiper rubber blade. The choke and foot starter work well.
