1955 Chevy Belair Convertible.Buy It Now For $43,950! 5 Day Listing.

Hi Everyone:
I had several inquiries last week asking me to end the auction now and yet only received a few actual bids. So I am lowering the price one final time as a buy it now. Please do not message me - call me at 201-741-5654 with any questions. I will be happy to try and answer any of your questions that I can - as it was my dad's car.
My dad last drove it to the Greenwich Connecticut Concours D'elegance show back in June of 2014. I have driven it locally to cruise nights and local shows ever since then - and it has always been maintained by a local mechanic specializing in servicing and restoring antique cars here in Bergen County NJ.I have attached every picture of the car that I have.
If you are seriously looking for a nice #2 car that is fun to drive and turns heads, this is the car for you. You could not restore it for this low price of $43,950 which is actually $43,600 after the $350.00 credit. I have a clear New Jersey Title which will be transferred in your name after payment is made in full - no title jumping. Sold as is.If you do not agree to this, then please do not bid as we cannot sell you the car. It is part of an estate.Thank you for your understanding.
Fred

Body off restored about 5 years ago.265 V8 with a new power top and boot. Nice #2 California car. Aftermarket AM-FM-Cassette radio. 2 speed powerglide trans and new Vapex carb. All new wide whitewall tires including the spare. It was my dad's car who has since passed away.
No power steering, no power brakes.
Other thanthe 2 minor issues listed below which I am allowing a credit of $350.00 to fix, this car needs nothing to drive and enjoy. I have seen similar cars at Barrett-Jackson and Mecum go for over $50,000 plus the 10% buyers premium.

2 minor issues: 1). Small area under left side rear tail light was touched up with a non-matching white paint and needs to be updated. About a small 2" area. 2). Speedometer cable acts up and does not show correct speed - not sure why - could be the head or cable.A $350.00 credit off the final price will be given to fix these 2 items.
I had it previously listed at a reserve of $46,000 - which I felt was fair - but I reduced it to $43,950 which is the lowest that we can go. Take off the $350.00 credit and your actual buy price is only $43,600. He had over $65,000 invested in the car. Cashier's check, wire transfer or cash accepted for payment.
If you are local to the Northern New Jersey area, I welcome you to come see the car and drive it. We are near the George Washington Bridge.Clear New Jersey title. Car is being sold as is where is.
Please do not send me any messages through E-Bay. Call me at 201-741-5654 from 9 am - 7 pm. EST. to arrange to see and drive the car. Please - no bidders with zero or negative feedback or any bidders outside of the USA.
Thank you for taking the time to read my listing and have a safe and enjoyable July 4th holiday weekend!
