1991 K5 Blazer
Description
Last year of the "real man's" Blazer, in great shape, some frame rust, no body rust besides on the inside of tailgate hinge, originally from Virginia. Has custom roll cage in rear, Soft Topper and original hard top, I also have a bikini top on the roll cage for shade from the sun, headers and new dual exhaust, 4" Tough Country lift, 35" tires. Interior is in good shape but could use new carpet or good cleaning. Small crack in dash but not bad, needs the headliner reattached or replaced. It does not have the original TBI but has a built 350 that runs great with a 4L60 behind it. I wouldn't mind keeping it but it just doesn't fit for us right now, physically and logically. I have covered the middle paint with vinyl carbon fiber wrap (purple underneath, gross...). The paint job is not original and it's not the greatest job, I'm planning on repainting this winter if it doesn't sell, not because it needs body work or has rust but because it deserves it! Fun truck to just cruise in, not many around especially 1991 being last year they were built, turns heads for sure! Haven't had the hard top on for several years now (always stored inside climate controlled garage), the soft top is more than adequate and I rarely drive it in the winter unless absolutely have to. Even at 20 degrees or so it's more than warm enough. Was told the AC just needed to be charged but never had a reason to check it or use it. I do have a seat out of a Tahoe with the shoulder straps that can go with it. Currently I put two 4pt harnesses on rear side seats, and middle is just the original lap belt, so 5 seat belts in total, just like originally. I am also selling locally, first 12K received and it's gone, I would consider holding a couple days if I receive serious inquiry and you want to look at it in person. In fact I would prefer that buyer checks it out in person. I am an honest person, I've done my best to represent it accurately, and will answer any questions you have about it. It's really a great a truck and I don't think many would be unhappy with the condition. I can be reached at 712-249-4975 with any questions and can provide more pics when requested or email n8potts@gmail.com.
