Nice straight Factory Garnet Red 1969 Chevelle SS 396/325 TH400 auto Numbers matching car. Body is super straight. Paint and body was done in the 80's using Full GM 1/4's, Gaps are Perfect. Paint was done in enamel and looks Perfect in pictures, great in person, not until your up really close can you see some imperfections, a nick and scratch and a couple of touch ups some of which are below the chrome trim of the vinyl top, the paint IS 35 years old and i would call a 3 footer or a nice driver. Vinyl top is in excellent condition. Bumpers are new reproductions.Bucket seat console interior is nice as is the dash with factory gauge package with in dash tach, everything works. There is one seam in the original headliner that has come loose. From the fire wall back car is Very original with original floors which are perfect no holes or thin spots,same as trunk, gas tank etc Very honest original under side still showing some original factory under coat. New Factory style exhaust with resonatorsand cowbell numbered tips.From the fire wall forward it was all redone in 2011. The Original #'s Matching Motor was Totally rebuilt with Very little miles since from a 396 guru in NJ Promar Precision Engines. The TH400 also was rebuilt with a light shift kit by McBride Transmissions in NY. The entire front suspension was redone, new brakes, new engine wiring harness, Original Rochester carb sent out and redone and re-cad platted correctly (very expensive), etc etc. Engine compartment is beautiful and motor runs smooth as can be, transmission shifts positive and firm.This is a Full Numbers Matching Car! Motor, Tranny, 12 bolt 331 rear, Carb, Intake, heads all original! I even have the original Points Distributor in a box, that was swapped out for reliability. Radios there but not hooked up.Wheels are 14" date coded originals with new Cooper tires. Have receiptsfor motor and transmission rebuilds.
