Me and my wife bought it from the original owner in 2002 when it has 3,200 miles on it, and have owned every since. It is 95% all original except for a few tasteful mods that can all be undone and put back original at any time. we had a beautiful set of 304-stainless steel BBK headers, Borla mufflers/w high flow performance cats, and believe it or not the car is still very quiet overall but does have a great sounding deep V8 rumble to it when you lean into it.We also did all the upgrades required by these cars, as known issues. For example, MSD ignition, MSD Opti Spark distributor (Professional Sealed) MSD 8.8mm Wires and a completeK&N cold air intake system, and NGK platinum spark plugs. With the headers, cats, mufflers, cold air etc....the breaths 10x better and now gets a second gear scratch with its automatic trans. (It's way faster than a stock SS for sure)The car still has it's original, Jet black paint job, which looks amazing and shines like new. The interior is a beautiful gray leather which also is (All 100% Original), and looks very, very good !!! The vehicle has been garage kept every single day of its life. We have maintained this car with loving care since day one. There is no rust anywhere on, or under this car period. The original SS wheels look beautiful, with no pitting or curb rash at all. The car drives, shifts, and runs like brand new as stated above, It doesn't have any rattles, shakes, or funny noises at all. It's solid as a rock, has tons of power and drives like a comfy Buick!!!! A tech at our local chevy dealer said its the fastest Impala SS he has ever been in.
