Up for sale is a true time capsule, a 1963 Chevrolet Greenbrier Corvair Camper Van.The awesome 2-tone patina survivor throws you back down memory lane to a 70's camping trip.It's believed that is a one-owner vehicle purchased original from George Chevrolet in Bellflower California and spent it's entire life in California making it a true survivor. Still has factory air cooled flat 6 engine and3 speed manual butwill need complete overhaul, as well as brakes. Last registered in 1983 this vehicle is up for sale as-is with a bill of sale only.
The van features a kitchen, couch, sink, cooler, dual door mounted tables, storage compartments, and a ton of cabinet space. The interior is in factory original condition, still preserving the factory upholstered bench seat, black rubber floor mat, as well as all the chrome trim across the dash. The instrumental panel, and radio have kept a good shine over the years, as well as theglass, free of any cracks, and keeping a shine like new. Even the window regulators roll up & down nicely!There's some light body damage on the front and driver side lower panel of vehicle that happened when rescuing the car out of the yard. The under belly of the van looks to be solid. Lights, handles, hinges, Ignition key, etc all in tact. There's hardly anything missing. Even comes with a few extras like a cloth canopy that mounts onto the van, as well as a sink cover. It's safe to say they built these vehicles back then to last!Would be nice to get it running & drive as is, or restore back to factory original.
