1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Custom 150/250 Sport No Post
Description
Selling for a family whose Father just unexpectedly passed from cancer. Need to get money fast. I can tell you what I know about the vehicle, which is not a whole lot as it was not mine. It was reconditioned several years back, It has been customized and is FAR from original. Itis not a show car but is a very nice daily driver. The car drives really well with the freshly built 350 motor and automatic transmission. Very smooth at 75MPH with no shakes or anything. The paint is in very good shape no rust on the body. Did have rust on underbody looks like new floor pans were put in at some point for the floors. Interior was redone several years ago and is in good condition with a few small nicks and scuffs . Has brand new 20-in vision wheels on the rear and 18-in on the front. With brand new tires. The car does need a few minor things done such as fuel gauge not working, Speedometer not workin, etc. It is drivable as is and owner was driving daily until he got sick. Car was refurbished converting from a 4 door to a 2 door. Looks like it was done really nicely. I have read that this is a common procedure with this car. Again it is not a show car but does look very good at 10 feet out. It has a scratch down lower passenger side that was touched up with what looks like a touch up brush. Needs sanded and buffed and touched up better. Car does look better in person than in these pictures. Body is very straight with no rust. Has small crack in clear coat on rear quarter panel where a repair was done probably years ago. Not real noticeable. Has clear title with lien released. If any other questions please ask and i will try to get answers. I do not know anything about the older chevys but this looks like a nice driver..
