Up for sale is a beautiful 1986 Chevrolet K10 Scottsdale. This is a two owner, single family owned truck. Has always lived in the garage in the high desert. Absolutely 100% rust free with an extremely clean chassis. Have paperwork from the original dealer in California where the first owner owned the truck. Purchased in Oakland California and He lived in the high desert of California before passing away. His niece then bought the truck from his estate and has owned It the last 15+ years in Reno Nv. Where it was always stored correctly in the garage and taken care of properly, and it shows!I have acquired it as part of my collection and offering it up for sale to finish other square body projects. Hate to sell it, don't need to sell it, but I figure somewhere out there someone is wanting one of these very nice, mostly original, squarebody to cruise around.This truck overall is in excellent condition. It has the numbers match 5.7L 350 backed by the original 700r4 overdrive transmission. I have installed new valve cover gaskets, valve seals, adjusted valve seals properly, and new spark plugs to reassure the truck is ready to run reliably for the next owner. Only thing not original on the motor is previous owner upgraded to a new Edelbrock carb and Edelbrock air filter. The auto locking hubs and transfer case work great. All the lights, blinkers, heater, radio, horn, wipers, dual tanks, gauges etc all work as they should. This is an original AC truck but needs to be serviced.The interior of this truck is a 9/10. The only flaw is the original seat has one thread that has gotten old and given out. But seat foam and everything else is in great shape and wanted to keep that orginal.(see pics) New high quality vinyl dash pad has been installed, and a new vintage style radio with auxiliary port has been installed (just to make cruising that much more enjoyable), everything else is original.This truck has undergone one repaint two years ago by the previous owner by a professional body shop in Reno, NV. All original body panels and no bondo so truck still has few small dings and nothing hiding under the paint. This truck looks great going down the road and gets thumbs up at every gas station.Driving is excellent. Truck doesn't have rattles or weird noises, steering is tight, and drives nicely down the road, shifts smoothly, doesn't smoke or burn any oil, runs cool and good oil pressure, etcOverall someone will be very pleased with this truck and they are next to impossible to find mostly original, with this history, and in this good of condition.Truck comes with original paperwork, books, etcHappy bidding on a very nice K10 pickup!
