Description

I am starting to realize why wives hate men with project cars. They are the mistress that takes all of your time and money and still don't act right. Once they finally start to, you have to let them go.
I previously listed this car about a month ago but I had the front end off and had it up on jack stands. I was waiting for an American Auto Wire Classic Update kit ($700) to come in that I was planning to install. Since it was previously listed that kit did arrive and I wired the engine compartment. Anyone doing a project car, I assure American Autowire is the way to go. I went through two Painless Wiring kits and I ran into issues with both. The main thing this cars needs is front and rear windows. Everything else it needs is basically in my garage. I decided to part with it because I have an itch for a 69 Camaro, 70 Chevelle, or Lincoln Zephyr. A TON of work has gone into this care. If anyone wants additionally pictures of this car as it came along I am willing to send them. As well as video of the engine running. I ttook this car out once after I recently wired the engine compartment. I ran out of gas and has given me a little hesitation on starting. I am thinking it is a coil or spark plug issue. It also recently upgraded the spark plug wires to Taylor Thunders 8.5 (I thought the old MSD wires may have been the issue. The Intro Wheels and tire set was 5k. I would like to at least get half of that back as well. The fronts are 19x10 and the rear 20x12. When I took it around the neighborhood I noticed the front drives side tire rubs and appears to sit out slightly further then the passenger side front tire. It could be due to the 2" drop spindles with the larger wheels. This will need to be addressed. Again, WE CAN NEGOTIATE TO INCLUDE THE WHEELS IN THE PRICE. The majority of the photos in this listing were taken today specifically for ebay. Everything I have purchased for this car recently will be going with it. I will also be including everything that came off of this car. That includes the previous Hotchic rear suspension. As you will see in the below information from the previous listing all of the door handles on this car have been shaved. Door handles will need to be installed if you want to go that route. I planned to do door poppers but the installer did terrible work and didn't want to pass on his poor work to someone else so I had them removed. If you want additional info on all of the extras feel free to reach out. CLEAR AND CLEAN TITLE.
All of the information below is from the previous listing and still valid
1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS project that I started that is 90% complete and primarily done. There have been a ton of new parts put into this car and there have been some custom modifications such as the door handles and locks are shaved, trunk lock is shaved (so poppers for both will be required, the car has mini tubes installed to fit 12 inch tires, the drive shaft has been shortened to fit wit the four link rear suspension, and there are a ton of other things. This list could go on. 25k for the original purchase, another 17k in work not including parts. I will also be throwing the old hot chicks suspension that was new as well. It only needs wiring, lights installed, new glass installed, poppers installed, vintage air wired, exhaust install, and interior completed (dash needs to be done and the rear seats will need to be custom cut due to the tubs.

Summary:I will try to cover as much as I can here but I have done a lot to this Camaro. "69" 427 BBC full roller engine with forged pistons and 4 bolt main. MSD ignition. I have found that it may have been a Corvette engine from the casting #'s. Hedman 2" primary ceramic headers. M22 trans w/Hurst shifter, 10 bolt with Crome moly axles, Richmond 373 gears and an Auburn posi. Wilwood brakes, aluminum radiator with electric fan. I installed a newer Z28 power steering box that has a 16 to 1 ratio. Heidt's 2" drop "long" spindles. The "long" helps with a better steering geometry. Flaming river tilt steering column. Headliner is in and interior is done other than some dash stuff and rear seats. Wiring is all new but need hooked up. Brakes are done and operational (A little squishy, may need to bleed them). Body work is done and the car has been painted satin grey. There are some minor scratches that occurred when I had had it transported from a shop in GA to Tampa, FL. The engine runs well. Message me for video of engine.
