Description

Up for bids is a 1970 Chevrolet C-10 fleetside short bed pickup truck. Being listed atNO RESERVE!!! I have had this awesome truck for about 12 years. I purchased it in Atlanta with a 307 motor in it. A few years later, I purchased a performance built 383 Stroker motor on Ebay from AR Racing Unlimited, and had it installed, along with a few other high performance parts. It was advertised to produce over 400 HP. I will include the Ebay ad in with the pictures. I haven't put more than 300 miles on this motor. It has aluminum Edelbrock heads and an Edelbrock carb. I added an aluminum radiator, new starter, the battery is fairly new as well. I also added a set of Hedman Headers, connected to 3" true dual exhaust with electric cutouts. You can automatically open these with an installed rocker switch. There is also a hidden kill switch installed, a Comp Cams aluminum vacuum canister reservoir, for the big cam. This truck sounds great, with a killer "lope!" The windshield is new. The truck is equipped with an aftermarket A/C, which does not work. I never had it checked to find out why.
THE GOOD: This truck looks and runs AWESOME! Sounds badazz too! It has a sweet motor with a very nice exhaust with electric cutouts and headers. It always gets "the looks" and the "thumbs up!" It is so much fun to drive.
THE BAD: The A/C doesn't work. The heater is disconnected, due to a broken heater core. The radio was disconnected, because it was slowly draining the battery and didn't work. I'd rather listen to the tunes of the exhaust, anyway. That's why I never replaced the radio. The wiper motor is about to go out. It works when it wants too. Also, the mechanic that disconnected the radio, broke the wiper switch in the process, and it needs a new wiper switch. The windows go up and down, but not smoothly. Sometimes, they need a little assistance going up or down with a hand.
THE UGLY: Both rockers under the doors are rusted. The bed just has surface rust.
I will be more than happy to answer any questions about this truck. This truck is currently listed locally for sale therefore, I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. This is for sale "As Is, Where Is." Thank you for your bids.
