1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Real X33 Z/28, Fresh ZZ6, Muncie 4-Speed, PS, PB, 226
Description
Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 21st year in the classic and muscle car business. First generation Chevrolet Camaro Z/28's (1967-1969) were developed as homologation ringers for the SCCA's Trans Am race series. Chevrolet didn't even bother with a catchy name for the special package, instead using the RPO code Z/28. But by the time that the legendary duo of Roger Penske and Mark Donohue had won their second Trans Am title in 1969, the Z/28 had a fierce reputation and a growing number of loyal fans that would keep the name alive decades after the racing had waned. Our beautiful 1969 Z/28 (TT X33) is an excellent example of one of these tigers of the track, and at the top of 3rd gear you might even feel like Mark Donohue! Lurking beneath the ducted hood (ZL2) is a fresh Chevy ZZ6 small block that is dimensionally identical to the original 302 but produces far greater power and torque. This potent mill features four-bolt mains, CNC-machined aluminum angle plug heads, a forged steel crankshaft, forged connecting rods, aluminum pistons, a hydraulic roller cam, aluminum single plane intake manifold, Holley carburetor, Doug's ceramic coated headers, Champion aluminum radiator, and HEI. Additional goodies include power steering, power front disc brakes, Vintage Air A/C-Heat-Defrost, Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, 12 bolt rear end with 4.10 Posi gears, and the stunning black and white houndstooth upholstery. This beauty runs, sounds, drives, turns, and brakes like a well-sorted muscle car should and is both quicker and more comfortable than stock. Please note the exceptionally clean and well detailed chassis in the images. Not all toys are depreciating assets!
